Leigh Court is a residential neighborhood in Mullica Hill, NJ that was built by Orleans Homes back in 2006. If you like uniformity in a neighborhood, Leigh Court is the place for you. When you enter the manicured entrance to the short street, you’ll find granite curbing throughout the streets of this neighborhood.
Each mailbox is identical along with medium-sized trees that line the streets in front of each home that have grown from saplings since this neighborhood was established. Each of these newer homes features a raised front porch but with their own fresh, clean, styles of brick, stucco and stone fronts. You can tell the owners are in the process of putting their personalization on the properties, with pools and patios being installed throughout the neighborhood.
This is definitely a neighborhood with a family vibe. Kids can bee seen riding bikes and moms watching their kids play basketball from their front porch while drinking their coffee. The neighborhood is surrounded by farmland and is an easy commute to downtown Mullica Hill, Rosie’s Farmers Market or The Amish Market and a quick ride to major shopping locations.
Leigh Court is nicely distant enough from the congestion that is a hallmark of many Philadelphia area suburbs, but it’s still an easy ride to the city for a day trip or a sporting event. And of course, South Harrison Township is an hour’s drive from several great Jersey Shore resort towns, including Wildwood, Cape May, Ocean City and several others. It’s an easy trip to take a day or a week at the beach.
